Loved the unique experience of staying in a yurt during Easter. It was a refreshing change from the usual hotel rooms. The yurt was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and cozy log burner.- The location was great, surrounded by nature and offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities.

The yurt was quite cold, even with the log burner. We had to constantly bundle up and the mornings were particularly chilly.

The communal log cabin had all the necessary kitchen facilities, making it convenient for cooking. the owners were friendly and welcoming, providing us with a tour and ensuring we had everything we needed.

The presence of wasps in the yurt was a slight inconvenience, but it can be attributed to the natural surroundings.

The facilities were great, including the toilets, showers, and communal kitchen area. The wood burner in the Mongolian Ger kept us warm even in the rain. The location was perfect, allowing for easy day trips to various places. The feeling of being cut off from the outside world and surrounded by nature and wildlife was exactly what we were looking for.

During storm level wind, the breeze from the composting loo was uncomfortable.

We loved the sustainable approach and beautiful hillside location of Larkhill Tipis and Yurts. The yurt had everything we needed and the trails on site were filled with impressive tree carvings and stone features. The surrounding countryside offered stunning views too.

Our stay at Larkhill was a magical experience for the whole family. The kids loved being in nature, having fun in the playground and getting up close to the animals. The yurt was spacious, cozy, and had everything we needed. The staff, especially Fran, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area.

The breakfast option could have been improved with an emergency supply of instant coffee for us caffeine addicts.

We got great value for our money with the cozy yurt room at Larkhill. The location was beautiful, surrounded by woods and offering a view over the valley. The staff, especially Tony and Fran, were welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the different tents they offer.

As for the breakfast offerings, I wish there were a few more choices to enhance the dining experience.

The hosts were very helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to provide fire lighters when needed. The communal hut was well-equipped with kitchen implements and had everything we needed. a memorable and enjoyable stay.

There were some wasps that got into the yurt, but that's just nature and not something the hotel could control. Other than that, there wasn't anything else that we didn't like about our stay.

larkhill tipis and yurts surpassed our expectations once again. the beautiful surroundings, well-equipped accommodations, and thoughtful touches made for a peaceful and memorable stay. highly recommended for nature lovers and those looking for a relaxing getaway.

I had the most amazing time at this magical place called Larkhill Tipis and Yurts. From the pictures, I could already tell it was going to be beautiful, but being there in person was even more incredible. The communal areas were lovely, and I had so much fun exploring the entire site. Everything about it was eco-friendly, and the tipis were in pristine condition. Fran and Tony, our hosts, were so helpful and inviting. The location itself was absolutely stunning. I traveled with my three grandchildren, and they had a blast in the Alachigh, which was spacious enough for all of us. We all loved the freedom to wander and play. I've been recommending this place to everyone, and I definitely want to go back.

I recently stayed at Larkhill Tipis And Yurts for a peaceful getaway. The surroundings were absolutely magical with stunning art and wood carvings. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. The Yurt I stayed in was spotless, comfortable, and cosy. The facilities had everything I needed and more, including a communal kitchen and clean toilets and showers. I loved sitting up late by the roaring fire, unwinding and enjoying the beautiful sunset. Highly recommended!
